Jason Bourne Premieres with Tommy Lee Jones and Matt Damon

New Matt Damon Movie

Jason Bourne returns to the big screen on July 29. The fifth installment of the action spy thriller series stars Matt Damon, Tommy Lee Jones and Julia Stiles. This is the fifth installment in the Bourne series, based on the novels by Robert Ludlum. Damon starred in the first three films — Doug Liman directed The Bourne Identity directed by Doug Liman and released in 2002, The Bourne Supremacy helmed by Paul Greengrass and released in 2004 and The Bourne Ultimatum directed by Tony Gilroy and released in 2007. Jeremy Renner took over the title role in Gilroy’s 2012 adaptation of The Bourne Legacy (2012).


Jones makes his Bourne debut playing CIA director Robert Dewey. The film was written by Christopher Rouse and Paul Greengrass, who also served as director. Damon, Greengrass, Frank Marshall, Jeffrey M. Weiner, Ben Smith and Gregory Goodman produced.
